Style Guide: Belinda Stay In Line Top

A brand new section on our blog – Style Guide, where we feature some of our favorite apparel and looks from www.ellysage.com. Watch out for more Style Guide posts!

Who doesn't fancy a top that can be styled and worn in 101 other ways? Pretty sure all of you here loves one because here at #TeamEllysage, we absolutely do! We have recently launched a new collection on 1st March 2015 and one item we adore from the collection would be the Belinda Stay In Line Top here:

Stripes are, and have always been in trend, and they are definitely going BIG in 2015! Don't believe it? See for yourself – Spring 2015 Fashion Trend / Trend: Stripes. We love that stripes are always easy to match with, and looks great no matter what base color they're on! In this style guide today, #TeamEllysage shows you how we would match our favorite top differently, particularly the casual chic and the preppy style.

Once in a while, we do love pulling off the preppy look – one we think would be perfect for school. Donning the Elianna Back To School Backpack, we think the Belinda Top is best matched along with a pair of jeans to keep that preppy style going. Not to mention, what better than a long-sleeved top and bottoms to keep you warm in the freezing-cold lecture halls?

We all know, the sweltering heat may be too overbearing for us all in Singapore at times, so pairing a long sleeved top with jeans may not be the best option. Well, you can always pair your Belinda top with a pair of casual skorts, and accessorise your outfit with a crossbody sling bag, as we did with the Elyse Handy Sling in Khaki. We think this look is perfect for a short day out to run some errands, or even for a picnic as it is casual and comfortable for you to move around in easily.

How else would you pair the Belinda top? Share with us through Instagram by tagging or hashtagging us at #ellysage! P/S – we do stalk each and every of your #ellysage OOTDs, so keep them flooding in!
